both ends on this fitting are NPTF male, right? just want to make sure before I order a handful of em

Correct on both counts. The 3329X6 is a male NPTF to male NPTF configuration, 3/8 inch on each end. It's a straight nipple, so there's no thread change or size reduction happening. If you're connecting two female NPTF ports and need a rigid brass nipple in between, this one fits that bill.

trying to replace a little brass nipple i’ve got between two female ports, is this one male nptf on both ends and 3/8 size?

It’s a brass long nipple with NPTF male threads on both ends, and both ends are 0.375 in size.

Will this long nipple work for hydraulic systems, or is it just for other stuff like grease lines?
