runs up to 5,000 psi housing pressure on this thing, that enough for most excavator and forestry applications?

For the range of equipment this valve assembly is built around, yes, 345 bar covers the typical operating demands of excavators, forestry machines, and truck-mounted cranes pretty well. The flow rating tops out at 132.5 L/min, so as long as your system stays within those two numbers, you're in good shape pressure-wise.

Reckon this relief valve assembly'll fit on my older excavator? It's a Danfoss unit, but I ain't got the exact model number handy.
