What kind of pressure can this relief valve handle, and is it actually rated for heavy equipment like excavators?

Carbon steel housing rated up to 345 bar, which works out to 5,000 psi. That puts it well within range for excavators, and it's also listed for forestry equipment, refuse trucks, forklifts, agricultural machinery, truck-mounted cranes, and marine applications. So yeah, heavy-duty use is exactly what it's built around.
