got a 5/8 hose and a port that takes 3/8 male pipe thread, is this the right little adapter for that

For tying a 5/8 inch hose to a standard pipe threaded port, this fitting is set up exactly that way. One end is a 5/8 inch hose barb meant to be clamped on the hose, and the other end is a 3/8 inch male pipe thread for threading into a pipe threaded connection.
