Got a 1/2 inch hose I need to tie into a female NPT port, this fitting gonna work for that?

That's the setup this one covers. The barb end accepts 1/2 inch hose and the other end is a 1/2-14 female NPT thread, so you're connecting straight into a male NPT port on your equipment. Brass construction means it holds up well in most industrial line work without a lot of fuss.
