Is this the right spool for a Danfoss valve on, say, a smaller excavator? Just want to make sure before I order.

This spool is made to fit Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton mobile valves, so it should work with your Danfoss valve. It's used on excavators of multiple sizes as well as forestry equipment and other heavy machinery.
