Will this handle a constant workload on a refuse hauler without failing early?

For refuse hauler work, this one's well within range. The RV3-16V-S-0-50/ is rated to 350 bar, which is 5000 psi, and handles up to 303 litres per minute. That's roughly 80 US gallons per minute on the flow side. Refuse haulers are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so you're not pushing it into unfamiliar territory.
