Got a M10 x 1.0 port on a small hydraulic component and need to tie into a 1/4" JIC line, this banjo fitting do that job?

Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting handles. One end is a 7/16-20 UNF male JIC connection, which is your standard 1/4" JIC, and the other end is an M10 x 1.0 metric male. The 90 degree elbow shape means you can route the line off to the side instead of straight out, which helps a lot in tight spots. Both are male connections, so make sure your component ports are female on both ends before you order.
