flow rate on this one says 45 liters per minute but the specs also mention 350 L/min -- which number actually applies to my setup?

Both numbers are real, just referring to different things. The 350 L/min is the maximum flow capacity the valve can handle passing through it. The 45 liters per minute is the specific regulated flow rate this valve is set to deliver. So if you're trying to control output to a circuit at 45 L/min, that's what this valve is calibrated for, while the 350 L/min ceiling means it won't be a bottleneck in a higher-flow system.
