Running this on a refuse hauler that cycles pretty hard throughout the day. Does the 24V DC solenoid hold up alright under that kind of repeated use, or is that pushing it?

Hardened and ground steel construction is what holds this valve together under demanding duty cycles, so repeat cycling on a refuse hauler is well within what it was built for. The 24V DC solenoid is standard for mobile equipment running that kind of workload, and the compact form factor means it fits into tight spots on those trucks without a lot of fuss. Pressure handling goes up to 350 bar, so the hydraulic demands on a refuse hauler are not going to stress it.
