running a refuse hauler and need something that'll hold up at 5000 psi without giving me grief every season, this valve rated for that kind of pressure?

At 350 bar, which works out to right at 5000 psi, this valve is built to handle exactly that kind of load. The body is hardened and ground steel, so it's not going to soft-pedal under pressure the way cheaper valves sometimes do. Refuse haulers are actually one of the listed applications for it, so you're in the right ballpark.
