we run these coils on our refuse trucks pretty hard, does this one hold up to continuous use or is it gonna need rest cycles?

Continuous duty is exactly what this coil is rated for, so no rest cycling required. That's actually one of the main reasons it gets spec'd on refuse haulers and harvest equipment, those machines run long shifts and the coil has to keep up without thermal shutdowns or degradation. The Toughcoil designation reflects that kind of sustained workload.

That Vickers Toughcoil is made with a PVC coated fiberglass sleeve, so it's built to hold up against moisture, abrasion, and heat stress, which is what you need for mobile equipment.
