Does this coil run off AC power or do I need to set up a separate rectifier somewhere in the line?

AC power goes straight in and the coil handles the conversion internally, putting out DC on its own. No external rectifier needed in the control circuit, which keeps the installation cleaner and cuts down on extra components to wire up or troubleshoot later.
