Product Questions & Answers

i’m trying to swap a coil on a Vickers setup, is MCSC S 012 B N0 0 00 10 the right coil family for that?
Question by: Dwayne W on May 12, 2025, 5:54 PM
For context, this part is a Vickers by Danfoss and Eaton S Series coil in the Toughcoil style, and it’s categorized as a SICV coil. If your application calls for an S Series Toughcoil in that SICV coil category, this is the correct family and style match.

coil says continuous duty but we run equipment pretty hard out in the field. this the kind of thing that holds up or does it need babying?
Question by: Larry L on Feb 4, 2026, 9:44 PM
Continuous duty means it's built to stay energized without needing rest cycles, so running it hard is exactly what it's rated for. The toughcoil construction adds to that, giving it more physical durability than a standard coil. For mobile applications like harvesters and refuse haulers, that kind of punishment is the design expectation, not an exception.

Built for continuous duty, this S Series coil is meant to stay energized in demanding mobile and industrial service, including applications like refuse haulers and harvesters.
