coil says 24V DC, that gonna work runnin off a standard battery system on a harvester, or do I need somethin in between?

24V DC is exactly what this coil runs on, and that lines up well with the electrical systems commonly found on harvesters and similar mobile equipment. The internally rectified design handles the conversion on its own, so there's no need for an external rectifier between your power source and the coil. As long as your system is putting out 24V DC, you're in good shape.
