what's the steel grade on this barb fitting? trying to make sure it'll hold up in a corrosive setup we got running

316 stainless steel is the alloy used here. That grade carries more corrosion resistance than standard 304 stainless, mainly because of the added molybdenum content, which makes it a solid pick for wet, chemical, or salt-heavy environments.

A hose barb is a fitting meant to join flexible hose to a connection point, with the barbed end gripping the inside of the hose. This one is made from 316 stainless steel and comes from SSP.
