2CFP60 Series 3-Port Pressure Compensated Priority Flow Control, 1 - 16 GPM Handknob adjustment

Pressure compensation is the whole point of this valve. The regulated flow stays largely independent of both load and pressure changes, so actuator speed holds consistent even when conditions shift. The inlet pressure will run about 100 psi above whichever is higher, the regulated pressure or the bypass pressure, but the flow itself stays controlled within the 1 to 16 GPM range you dial in with the handknob. For a refuse hauler application, that kind of stability under variable load is exactly what this valve is built to handle.

With a fixed supply pump, it passes the flow you set for the regulated port and sends any surplus flow out the bypass port for a secondary circuit. The regulated flow and actuator speed stay largely independent of load and pressure changes.
