Product Questions & Answers

rated up to 435 PSI on this valve -- is that enough headroom for most standard hydraulic lines running off a mid-size industrial unit?
Question by: Brett S on Mar 23, 2026, 8:39 AM
For most mid-size industrial hydraulic setups, 435 PSI sits comfortably within range. That said, keep in mind the temperature plays into it too. At elevated temperatures approaching 320 degrees F, the pressure rating drops, so you'd want to account for both variables together when sizing this for your system. If your operating conditions stay well below that thermal threshold, the 435 PSI rating holds solid.

got a line with 3/4 npt threads already. are the ports on this valve 3/4 npt on both sides?
Question by: Phil C on Jun 15, 2025, 6:12 PM
It uses 3/4 NPT ports, so it matches standard 3/4 NPT threaded connections on the valve ends.
