what's the thread sizes on this adapter exactly, the 3/8 to 1/4 pipe deal from Midland?

You've got a 3/8 inch pipe thread on one end and a 1/4 inch pipe thread on the other. That's the whole point of this fitting, stepping down from the larger 3/8 side to the smaller 1/4 side so you can join two lines that don't match up straight across.
