got a spool of FC807-10 hose, is this the right socket to crimp on it

For FC807-10 in hose size -10, this socket is the matching steel flat crimp socket. It is specifically called out for use with 2807-10 and FC807-10 hose.

Will this socket work with a 1/2 inch hose? I just want to make sure before I order.

This socket is designed for use with a -10 hose size, which corresponds to a 5/8 inch or 0.625 inch outside diameter. It won't fit a 1/2 inch hose.

Does this socket work with the FC807-10 hose, or just the 2807-10?

Both hoses are supported. The FC3443-08S is built specifically for use with the 2807-10 and FC807-10 hose types, so either one will pair with it correctly. Hose size is -10 and the end sizes on both sides come in at 0.5, so as long as your hose matches one of those two designations, you're in good shape.
