Product Questions & Answers

got a tight spot to route it, how sharp can i bend this -6 teflon hose without kinking it
Question by: Steve O on Dec 7, 2025, 8:09 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius is 4 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius is the safe target for a -6 hose like this, especially in a cramped install.

does this hose hold up to chemical exposure or is it gonna break down over time?
Question by: Rick K on Dec 6, 2025, 6:26 AM
Teflon tubing handles virtually all chemical applications without degrading. The PTFE construction is naturally impervious to chemical breakdown, so it holds up in harsh fluid environments where standard rubber hose would fail pretty quickly. Just keep in mind it is not recommended for steam-to-cold-water cycling applications.

got a steam line that sees a lot of shake and pressure spikes. is this 2807-6 hose built for that kind of abuse?
Question by: Harold C on Apr 6, 2025, 8:21 AM
Built for rough service, the 2807 Series PTFE hose is called out for withstanding vibration and impulsing, with a stainless steel braid reinforcement and a premium abrasion-resistant cover.
