What exactly is FIP threading, and does this tee have it on all three ends?

FIP stands for Female Iron Pipe, which means the threads are on the inside of each port and sized to accept standard male pipe threads. On a tee fitting like this one, all three openings carry that same 1/4 FIP threading, so you can bring in a line from one direction and split it two ways without needing any adapters in between.
