both sides on this thing are M24 x 1.5 DIN tube, right? just want to make sure I ain't gotta mix two different fittings to make it work

Correct on both counts. Each side is M24 x 1.5 male DIN tube in size S16, so the connection is fully symmetrical. No adapting or mixing required, which makes assembly a lot more straightforward when you're working in a tight panel setup.
