Product Questions & Answers

Just want to make sure this swivels like it should. I'm hooking it up in a spot where the hose twists a good bit.
Question by: Lyle F on Oct 31, 2025, 4:51 PM
This EW JIC female swivel fitting is designed to prevent hose twisting in high-pressure hydraulic applications. The swivel function helps extend the life of your hose assembly, especially where there's movement or vibration.

got a hose setup that takes a -12, is this one the right dash size?
Question by: Travis G on Oct 22, 2025, 8:40 PM
For sizing, the hose dash size on this fitting is -12, and it uses a JIC female swivel on end 1.

Got a -12 hose assembly I'm trying to fit out. This a JIC female swivel on one end connecting to a line or hose on the other, that right?
Question by: Jean B on May 14, 2025, 12:53 PM
Correct on both counts. One end is a female JIC connection and the other ties into a line, hose, or tube. The hose dash size is -12, so if that matches your assembly you're in good shape. It's also a nipple assembly style with a backup hex, which helps a lot when you're trying to torque it down without spinning the swivel.
