Product Questions & Answers

what's this fitting made out of and will it hold up in a rough environment?
Question by: Janet H on Apr 17, 2025, 8:07 PM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance for tough conditions. It's built for high-pressure hydraulic systems in demanding applications like mining, shipyard work, and primary metal processing, so holding up in rough environments is exactly what it's meant to do.

got a hose setup that’s dash -6. is this the right swivel fitting for that, or am i lookin at the wrong one
Question by: Connie F on Oct 12, 2025, 2:00 PM
For a dash -6 hose, this one lines up with that callout since it’s listed with a -6 hose dash size. It’s an EW JIC female swivel nipple assembly with a 0.75 female JIC end, meant to tie into line, hose, or tube connections.

Hey, will this thing hold up if it's runnin' hydraulic fluid all day long? I'm talkin' constant use here.
Question by: Norm B on Apr 2, 2025, 8:58 AM
Dura-Kote plating is used on these fittings, which gives you excellent corrosion resistance, so it should definitely be up to the task with continuous hydraulic fluid flow.
