Reckon this little motor can handle workin' outside in the cold?

It’s rated for a minimum working temperature of -20°C, so it should hold up well in cold climates.

motor's rated down to -20°C -- does that mean it'll actually hold up running equipment through a hard winter without needing any kind of warm-up babying?

Cold weather performance was clearly a design consideration here. The -20°C minimum working temperature rating means the unit is built to handle genuine cold-climate conditions, not just occasional temperature dips. For equipment that has to run in freezing environments, that rating gives you a solid baseline to work from without special handling just to get it turning.
