pump says it's field reversible, what does that actually mean for someone swapping it onto a different piece of equipment?

Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction of the pump without sending it back to a shop or cracking open the internals in any complicated way. If you're pulling a pump off one machine and fitting it to another that runs the opposite rotation, you can make that adjustment right there in the field. That's a real time saver when you're dealing with different equipment setups across a fleet.
