pump says it's field reversible -- does that mean I can change rotation direction without swapping anything out or ordering extra parts?

Correct. Rotation direction can be reversed right on the unit without needing additional components. That's one of the practical advantages of the Series 26 platform -- it gives you some flexibility at install time if your setup calls for a different drive direction than what's typical.

Will this Eaton/Danfoss pump work okay on my tractor? I use it for mowing mostly.
