Been running this pump on a rotary mower setup and somebody told me it can be flipped for direction without tearing it all apart, that true?

Yeah, that's one of the handier things about this pump. The direction is field-reversible, so you can switch rotation without pulling it off the machine and sending it somewhere. That saves a real headache when you're working with equipment that runs the pump shaft a different direction than your last setup.
