does this pump work on a fan drive setup or is it mainly just for steering and lift applications?

Fan drive systems are actually listed right alongside steering circuits and lift trucks as supported applications for this pump. The Series 26 is built for auxiliary work circuits too, so it covers a pretty wide range of uses beyond just one type of machine.
