pump's rated down to -20 for minimum working temp, does that cover cold morning startups on seasonal harvest equipment before the hydraulic fluid gets up to temp?

Cold starts are where that -20 minimum working temperature becomes real practical. On harvest equipment sitting overnight in late fall, fluid is thick and slow to circulate, but this pump is built to handle those low-temp startup conditions without damage to the internals. Once the system warms up and fluid viscosity drops to a normal operating range, the improved volumetric and mechanical efficiency the Series 26 is known for really kicks in. It's a solid fit for that kind of seasonal, temperature-variable use.
