Does this pump work for both tractor applications and lift trucks, or is it more suited to one over the other?

Both are well within what this pump was built for. The Series 26 covers tractors, harvesters, lift trucks, fan drive systems, steering circuits, and a handful of other applications. It's a fixed displacement external gear pump, so it puts out a consistent flow regardless of the load, which makes it practical across that range of equipment without needing to swap to a different pump family for each job.

What's the coldest temp this pump can handle?

This Danfoss/Eaton gear pump is rated to operate at a minimum working temperature of -20°C.
