pump direction on this unit, is that something you can swap in the field or does it have to go back to a shop?

Field reversible is built right into it. You can change the rotation direction without sending it out or pulling it apart at a bench. That's a real time saver when you're working through a machine retrofit or swapping it into a circuit that runs opposite from the original setup.
