does this pump work in cold weather, like freezing temps and below?

Cold weather operation is supported down to -20 degrees minimum working temperature, so light freezes and moderately cold conditions are within its rated range. As long as your hydraulic fluid stays pumpable at those temps, you should be fine running it through a hard winter.
