pump says field reversible, so does that mean I can just flip the rotation direction without pulling it apart or orderin a different unit?

That's what field reversible means on this one. You can change the rotation direction without swapping out the pump or sending it back anywhere. It's meant to be done on-site, which saves a real headache when you're trying to match it to a circuit that runs opposite of what you expected.
