got a tractor with a steering circuit, is this pump the kind folks use for that or is it more for implements

For steering circuits, it’s a common fit on equipment types like tractors and harvesters. The same Series 26 external gear pump is also used on auxiliary work circuits, so it shows up on both steering and “work” functions depending on the machine.
