Product Questions & Answers

What kind of operating temperature can this handle? I'm thinkin' it gets pretty cold out on the farm sometimes.

A minimum working temperature of -20°C means it should hold up even when it gets pretty cold.

runs quieter than most gear pumps i've dealt with, but does that hold up in actual field use or is that just marketing talk?
Question by: Wade W on Apr 26, 2025, 2:02 PM
Reduced noise and vibration is a built-in design feature of the Series 26 platform, not just a spec line. External gear pumps in this class tend to be louder than piston or vane designs, but Danfoss engineered this one to run noticeably smoother than older-generation gear pumps. For tractors, mowers, and similar equipment where the pump runs close to the operator, that difference is real and noticeable over a full day of use.
