Will this pump work on my tractor for running an auxiliary hydraulic circuit?

pump says field reversible direction, what does that actually mean when I'm setting it up out in the shop?

Rotation direction on this pump can be swapped without replacing the unit or sourcing a separate model. If your circuit needs the fluid to flow in the opposite direction from how it comes configured, you can reverse it in the field during installation. That saves a lot of hassle when fitting it into a machine where the drive shaft spins a certain way and you need the output to match your circuit layout.
