pump says it's field reversible, how hard is that to do, and do I need any extra parts to flip the rotation on it?

Reversing the rotation on this pump can be done in the field without swapping out the unit entirely, which is a real convenience when you're working through an install and realize the drive direction isn't what you expected. No additional components are required to make that change. It's one of the features built into the Series 26 design specifically to cut down on the hassle of ordering a separate pump for opposite-rotation setups.
