pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can just swap the rotation direction on the job without pulling anything apart or ordering extra parts?

Field-reversible means exactly that. You can change the rotation direction without needing additional components or sending the unit back out for modification. That kind of flexibility matters when you're fitting it into a machine and realize the hydraulic connections runs opposite to what you planned. No extra hardware required, just a straightforward adjustment during installation.
