pump says field reversible on the direction, how hard is that to actually do out in the shop?

Reversing the rotation on this pump is something you can handle without sending it back or calling in extra help. The field reversible design means the pump direction can be changed on site, which is useful when you're matching it to a circuit that runs opposite of what you originally planned. This Series 26 gear pump is good for tractors and harvesters, also machine tools and steering circuits. You can use it on compactors and sweepers too, along with rotary and reel mowers, lift trucks, fan drive systems, and auxiliary work circuits.
