pump direction on these things -- can you actually flip it in the field or do you have to send it back out for that?

Field reversible is built right into the design on this one. You can change the rotation direction without sending it anywhere or swapping out components. That makes it a lot more flexible when you're setting up a circuit and need to match your system's requirements on the spot.

Reckon this gear pump would be alright for running the hydraulics on my old tractor? It's a '50s model Ford.
