pump says it's field reversible, what does that actually mean for someone swappin it into a system that was runnin the opposite direction?

Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction of the pump without sending it back to a shop or ordering a different unit. If the system you're pulling the old pump from ran clockwise and this one's set up for counterclockwise, or vice versa, you can make that adjustment on site. That kind of flexibility saves real time when you're fitting it into an existing machine that already has its hydraulic connections and drive setup locked in.
