pump says it's field reversible, what does that actually mean when I'm setting it up on a piece of equipment?

Field reversible means you can change the rotation direction of the pump without swapping out parts or sending it back somewhere. If your machine runs the drive shaft clockwise on one setup and you need counterclockwise on another, you just reconfigure it on-site. That kind of flexibility saves real time when you're retrofitting equipment or working across different machine layouts.
