Will this fit on my old tractor, or do I need to measure somethin' first?

pump says direction of rotation is field reversible -- how hard is that to actually do on install, and does it affect the shaft seal setup at all?

Reversing the rotation on these Series 26 pumps is straightforward and doesn't require swapping out the shaft seal. The Fluorocarbon Viton high-pressure seal with the step grind on the shaft is built to handle either rotation direction, so you're not looking at a teardown or special parts just to flip the drive orientation. The sealing washers in the pilot area stay put as well. It's one of the more practical features on this unit for anyone working with varied equipment configurations.
