pump direction reversible in the field, or do you have to send it back to get that done?

You can reverse it right where you are. The Series 26 is built so the rotation direction can be changed on-site without sending the unit anywhere or swapping it out. Handy when a circuit gets rewired or a machine gets repurposed and the flow direction needs to flip.
