Running this on a reel mower setup right now and been real happy with it, but got a second machine that needs a pump too. Does the direction on this one swap over without pulling it apart or sending it somewhere?

Field reversible pump direction is built right into this Series 26. You can change rotation without sending it out or tearing into the housing. That makes it handy when you're fitting it to a second machine that runs the opposite way from your first.

reckon this gear pump would hold up on my old tractor? I mainly use it for light brush hogging and moving hay bales.

This Series 26 gear pump should be suitable for tractors performing those kinds of auxiliary work. Just make sure the system is running within the pump's temperature and application guidelines.
