pump direction on this one, is it actually field reversible or do you have to send it back to get that changed?

Field reversible is built right into this pump, so you can swap the rotation direction without sending it anywhere. That's handled on-site during installation, which saves a real headache when you're fitting it into a circuit that runs opposite from what you expected.
