pump says it's field reversible, does that mean I can swap the rotation direction myself without sending it back or getting a whole new unit?

the rotation direction on this gear pump can be changed out in the field, so you're not locked into one configuration from the factory. That's handy when you're retrofitting it into an existing system where the drive shaft spins a particular way, or if your setup changes down the road. No need to return it or order a separate model for the opposite rotation.
