pump direction on this thing, can it be swapped out in the field or do you have to send it back somewhere to get that done?

Field reversible is exactly how it works. You don't need to ship it out or have it reconfigured at a shop. The pump direction can be changed on-site, which saves a good bit of time when you're trying to fit it into a system that runs a specific rotation.
